Helena is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based between the Netherlands and Vienna (Austria).
The Great Misunderstanding is the umbrella under which she conducts her research on the question:
How do we share urban space in relation to each other, other species, and our (in-)animate environment?
Helena critically examines the prevailing narratives and power relations that constitute how we share urban space. Through her work, she invites audiences to physically and emotionally subject their habitual ways of relating to each other, other species, and their inanimate environment, to open-ended questioning.
Helena´s work is held in private and public collections.
